The Academic Support Center provides students the opportunity to develop skills and strategies necessary for academic success. Our goals are to enhance each student’s ability to learn, apply knowledge, and think critically. We encourage personal responsibility so that students will become confident and independent learners as a result of their tutorial relationship.
The Academic Support Center (ASC) provides FREE one-to-one and group tutoring to all current undergraduate and graduate students of the Metropolitan Campus. Tutoring is available in many subject areas, including writing, mathematics, biology, social sciences, chemistry, economics, nursing, computer science, engineering, accounting, French, and Spanish. Our tutors can also help with study skills and time management. Tutoring appointments are available in 30- and 60-minute increments. Many of our tutors facilitate group review sessions before midterm and final exams.
